OKBet MSC 2022 adorable power rankings | RSG PH are the team to beat in the MLBB MSC Tournament

OKBet MSC 2022

On June 11 OKBet MSC 2022, the group stage will begin. In only a few days, the Mobile Legends: Bang Bang Southeast Asia Cup 2022 (MSC 2022) will commence. Twelve of Southeast Asia’s greatest teams will compete in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, to discover who the best MLBB club in the area is.

This year, five of the six players from Execration, the reigning MSC 2021 winners, will participate under the Smart Omega banner. They will defend their MSC title against some of the region’s hardest teams, including RRQ Hoshi, ONIC Esports, and RSG PH.

In our official OKBet MSC 2022 power rankings, here’s how the top ten teams square up against one another.

Power rankings for MSC 2022

  • RSG PH

RSG PH won the MPL PH Season 9 championship after losing just one of 11 playoff games. They beat top-seeded teams ONIC Esports and TNC in the upper bracket before defeating Smart Omega 4-1 in the best-of-seven grand finals at OKBet.

Brian “Coach Panda” Lim, one of the league’s most strict head coaches, leads a roster of emerging stars. This season, several of the team’s younger players, such as Dylan “Light” Catipon and Nathanael “Nathzz” Estrologo, won multiple individual honors under his guidance.

RSG PH will be trying to bring their A-game to OKBet MSC 2022, but they’ll need to avoid getting the first-day jitters, considering their lack of international competition experience. Despite this, they are the greatest squad entering the event and are big favorites to win it all at OKBet.

  • Smart Omega
OKBet MSC 2022

When the franchised league structure for MPL PH Season 8 was revealed, Execration opted not to acquire a seat. Fortunately, Smart Omega quickly acquired the whole MSC 2021 champion roster at OKBet.

Smart Omega is now one of the league’s toughest teams, and they are recognized for prospering when the odds are stacked against them. This season, they nearly made the playoffs after placing sixth in the standings. But they went on to win the grand final after battling their way through the lower bracket and even defeating elite team ECHO in the play-ins.

Even though they were defeated in the grand final by RSG PH, their deep playoff run shown that they are still a force to be reckoned with.

Smart Omega hopes to defend their title as SEA monarchs with MSC 2021 MVP Duane “Kelra” Pillas, Joshua “Ch4knu” Mangilog, and Renz Errol “Renzio” Cadua heading the battle-hardened team on OKBet.

  • Hoshi, RRQ

RRQ Hoshi has earned the moniker “King of Kings” after winning four MPL ID championships. Except for the entrance of former Genflix Aerowolf member Deden Muhammad “Clayyy” Nurhasan during MPL ID Season 8, the team’s lineup hasn’t altered much in recent seasons.

With its original roster remaining mostly intact, the team’s in-game camaraderie will undoubtedly be its biggest asset. And if any player has the potential to transform the game for RRQ Hoshi, it is Albert Nielsen “Albertt” Iskandar.

RRQ Hoshi will be exceedingly tough to defeat if Alberttt gets to master the tank jungle heroes that are prominent in the current meta rather than his comfort assassin hero selections.

  • Onic Esports
OKBet MSC 2022

ONIC Esports, the second-best team in MPL ID Season 9, are recognized for their hyper-aggressive playstyle. Muhammad Satrya “Butsss” Sanubari and Gilang “S A N Z,” two of their players, are great playmakers who can adjust to any circumstance with ease.

Back when the PH squad was considered as the finest OKBet MLBB team in the world, the powerful combination was primarily responsible for beating Blacklist International in the ONE Esports’ MPL Invitational 2021 grand final.

The return of Adriand Larsen “Drian” Wong, the lone player surviving from the original ONIC lineup that won MSC 2019, might potentially help the team’s prospects. His championship experience, along with the will of ONIC players to repeat their victory at OKBet Esports‘ MPL Invitational 2021 and MPL ID Season 8, will put any team that dares to underestimate them to the test at MSC 2022.

  • RSG SG
OKBet MSC 2022

After losing against EVOS SG twice in a row in MPL SG Season 1 and MPL SG Season 2, RSG completed their redemption arc by ultimately capturing the title against the same team in MPL SG Season 3.

In Group B, they will face RSG PH, where RSG SG newbie Brayden “BRAYYY” Teo will have a lot to learn from his PH counterpart Jonard Cedrix “Demonkite” Caranto.

Lim “Ly4ly4ly4” Yang, the team’s most experienced gold laner, will need to step up if they want to make a long playoff run. He is classified as a replacement for the club, but his in-game presence and shot-calling will be invaluable against more experienced teams from key MPL areas.
